Welcome to Luxury La Herradura Villas, hosting "Flecha Blanca" & "Flecha Negro" - both are luxury holiday villas located on the Punta de la Mona overlooking the UNESCO Heritage site of La Herradura bay, only 55 mins. eastward from Malaga Airport.
Described by Conde Nast Traveller Magazine in July 2019 as 'Spain's Paradise of the Mediterranean', La Herradura is Granada Province's hidden gem of a coastline.
Located on a ley line, La Herradura's 2 km beach will draw you in to its spell; and you will experience breathtaking views from our villas across the horseshoe bay and the Mediterranean.
Whichever holiday villa you choose, both are perfect luxury getaways; whether you are a family or a group, looking for an escape from the everyday. It is possible to book both for a larger group: Flecha Negro sleeps up to 11, and Flecha Blanca sleeps 8 people. Contact us to check on availability.
We can advise on private chefs, nannies, yacht hire, chauffeurs, personal trainers, massage therapists, yoga instructors and reflexologists - to name but a few.
What to do when you're here? Well, for example, Granada and its Alhambra (listed in the Top 10 Modern Wonders of the World) is just an hour away, and it is overlooked in winter by the ski slopes of the majestic Sierra Nevada. You can literally ski in the morning and be sunning yourself on the beach in the afternoon...
The lovely Marina del Este is on our headland: it offers boat charters, and hosted yacht and powerboat excursions to visit the adjacent Natural Park of Maro-Cerro Gordo, one of the Mediterranean's most celebrated nature reserves. This is where the mountains meet the sea, and it is not to be missed.
Naturists will love the nearby Cantarrijan nudist beach: it is also a great base for walkers, and for fresh seafood.
Ask us about the best places to eat in La Herradura or neighbouring Nerja and Almuñécar; covering every style - relaxed dining on the beach, modern Japanese sushi, vegan and vegetarian options, and local tapas bars. This is where to come if you don't want the hustle and bustle of Marbella: but you still want to experience authentic Spain in indulgent luxury.
